Building Financial Clarity Since 2019

We started with a simple question – why do people with decent incomes still struggle with money? The answer changed how we teach budgeting in Thailand.

Why We Do This Work

Back in early 2019, our founder Lawan Siriphan was sitting across from someone earning 45,000 baht monthly who couldn't pay a 3,000 baht unexpected expense. That conversation sparked everything.

We realized people don't need more income advice. They need practical systems that work with real life – messy schedules, family obligations, and actual Thai living costs. So we built training around that reality instead.

Today we're still in Rayong, still focused on making budget preparation something people can actually stick with. Not because it's trendy, but because watching someone gain control over their money never gets old.

How We Teach Differently

Six years of working with Thai households taught us what works and what's just theory.

Real Numbers First

We start with your actual expenses from the last three months. No generic templates or Western formulas that ignore Thai costs. Your budget should reflect your life, not someone else's spreadsheet.

Family Context Matters

Supporting parents, helping siblings, festival expenses – these aren't "nice to have" budget items in Thailand. We build them into core planning from day one because pretending they don't exist doesn't help anyone.

Tools You'll Use

Forget complex software. Our students track with methods they can maintain – whether that's phone apps, notebooks, or simple spreadsheets. The best system is one you'll actually open every week.

Our Journey in Rayong

What started as weekend workshops grew into something we're proud of.

2019

The Beginning

Started with 12 students in a borrowed office space. Taught basic budgeting on weekends while keeping full-time jobs. The feedback forms said we were onto something different.

2021

Going Full Time

Moved into our Thap Ma location and committed fully to financial education. Developed our three-month curriculum that balances theory with hands-on practice. Had our first group of students complete the full program.

2023

Expanding Methods

Added evening classes for shift workers and online options for people outside Rayong. Created specialized tracks for freelancers dealing with irregular income – turns out steady paychecks aren't the only way to budget successfully.

2025

Where We Are Now

Working with our 400th student while still teaching every class ourselves. Planning fall 2025 workshops focused on budget recovery after major expenses. Still learning what works best for different situations.

Meet the Person Behind the Program

Lawan Siriphan founded FutureOrigon after spending seven years in corporate finance and watching talented colleagues struggle with personal money management despite handling millions in company funds.

She holds certifications in financial planning but says most of what she teaches came from sitting with hundreds of Thai families and learning what actually helps versus what sounds good in textbooks.

When she's not teaching, Lawan consults with small businesses in Rayong on cash flow planning – which keeps her grounded in real-world financial challenges that regular people face.

Honesty Over Hype

We won't promise you'll retire early or become wealthy. Good budgeting means you stop worrying about next month's rent and start making choices instead of reacting to emergencies. That's the real win.

Thai Context Always

Advice that works in Bangkok doesn't always fit Rayong. Methods from American finance blogs ignore our family structures. We teach strategies that respect how money actually flows in Thai households.

Progress Not Perfection

Nobody sticks to a budget perfectly every month. Life happens – festivals, emergencies, those days you just need decent coffee. We teach you how to adjust and keep going, not how to feel guilty about being human.

Small Class Commitment

Maximum 15 students per session because personal attention matters. We remember your specific situation and check in on goals you set three weeks ago. That's harder with 50 people in a room.

Ready to Get Your Money Sorted?

Our next program starts in September 2025. Classes meet twice weekly for three months, with ongoing support after completion. Come see if our approach fits your situation.
